- Remember always to close velcro/zippers/hooks in the bandage/belt before washing.
- Never use softener – it breaks the elastic fibres in the material. Simply use regular washing powder/liquid.
- Allow the bandage/belt to air-dry – do NOT PUT IN TUMBLE DRYER – or hang on a warm radiator.
- Remove rings/bracelets before putting on the bandage.
- If you have long nails, be careful when putting on the bandage.
- If you find it difficult to close the bandage, you may find it easier to lie down when putting it on.
